STATE OF NEW JERSEY - PARKS AND FORESTRY
The New Jersey State Park Service
(which operates under the Department of Environmental Protection) owns many
acres of land in the Northwest Corner of NJ, including: High Point State Park,
Hopatcong State Park, Jenny Jump State Forest, Kittatinny Valley State Park,
Ringwood State Park, Stokes State Forest, Swartswood State Park, Wawayanda State
Park, and Worthington State Forest.
Communications occur between the Park Offices to Superintendents, Rangers,
Maintenance, and Other Personnel. Rangers also have capabilities to communicate
with NJDEP Dispatch (Trenton), and in some cases local agencies.

Units may be M or F series units. M units are maintenance personnel, and F units may be Rangers, Superintendents, Visitor Assistants, or other Park Staff. Designation of call signs (in Northern NJ) are as follows:

NJ FOREST FIRE SERVICE
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service (which also operates under the Department of Environmental Protection) uses a repeater along with simplex frequencies in Northwest NJ. I have only listed the main frequencies they use, pertinent to this area. They do have access to many other area frequencies. Most of their communications are between mobile units, portables, and fire towers.
